The Modern Day Wizard’s Handbook: Confronting Our Darkness to Spread the Light
By R. Bateman aka Professor Pendark
Part self-help, part autobiography, and all heart, The Modern Day Wizard’s Handbook is a guide for anyone walking the path between shadow and light. With wisdom forged through personal struggle, humor, and hard-won insight, Professor Pendark shares stories, reflections, and practical advice for embracing your inner power, confronting your darkness, and becoming a force for good in a chaotic world. This is not your typical self-help book—it’s a spellbook for the soul, a compass for the lost, and a reminder that even in the darkest places, light can be found… and shared.
(Seeking independent publisher ready to try something bold.)
Prof. Pendark's interview with Erik Anderson on Worst Impressions airs December 1. Advance Ed Wood style warning: It is not for those with a heart condition or fragile sensibilities. Its comedy folks. Aside from my worst impressions of Patrick Stewart, Sean Connery, and Cher; we talk the origin of Prof. Pendark, my sordid past, weird tales from the road, my philosophy on life, aging, and other "junk." My religious friends should probably skip this one. Just sayin. Its a hard pg-13 by my assessment.
